TiK kiltaCam archiveThis is the archive of TiK kiltaCam. A set of cam shots are archived as jpeg images along the day and are automagically packed to mpeg format the following morning (starting around 4 am EET). The mpegs are archived for few days until moved to another directory. Occasionally these more-folders are converted to CD-ROM images for archival purposes :-) The decision to archive an image is based on a value obtained by computing the mean average of the absolute differences in rgb values between the current cam shot and the previously archived image. If the obtained value is more than 5.0, then the current image is archived. The difference values are stored for those interested in them (see luistimet.diffs.txt and kumiankka.diffs.txt). An usual difference value during a normal weekday is between 10 and 25, and during weekends and nights between 3 and 4.5. For questions and suggestions mail tik-admin@niksula.hut.fi |
